With books, soccer balls, 4 litres of maple syrup, frisbees, jump ropes, sudoku puzzles and the list goes on and on - great team effort to get it all under the 23 kg limit per bag. I can definitely see a difference in packing techniques between the males and females:) The last trip with just Paul and myself I believe packing took about 90 minutes - we are now into a second day and still not done:) At least we will have everything we could possible need and that I am grateful for!
Off to the sack we go as it will be 40 hrs of travel until we get to the Vihiga School on Saturday in North Western Kenya. We will be flying Vancouver to Calgary to Amsterdam to Nairobi, layover for 9 hrs - then fly to Kisumu and then a Matatu (van) ride for 1hr to the school. May we all have thorough showers tomorrow morning:)
